WHAT ARE THE MOST INSPIRING SABBATHS AMONG SABBATH-KEEPERS?

Note: We first established from a preliminary random selection of active Sabbath-keepers, a list of seven Sabbaths that they considered their most spiritual and delightful with Christ. Then, over three years we have surveyed hundreds of Sabbath-keepers. We asked them four questions. Our results appear under each question. We recommend you read the survey question first, and then read the tabulated responses.

We are now opening this survey to our website visitors. Question 1. Check the box beside the three Sabbaths that bring you the most joy and delight with your Savior. The survey will only accept three choices. Follow directions for Questions 2-4. Update results posted monthly.

SPECIAL EXPLANATION: Our Sabbaths begin, usually at home, on Friday evening with worship, a family meal and meaningful traditions. Then there is Sabbath sunrise time, breakfast time, worship at church, luncheon meal, afternoon activity time and the vespers closing of Sabbath. Any of these times may be your sweetest time with Christ. Our survey is evaluating our Sabbath-keeping from a slightly different perspective.

Our survey will not evaluate what part of Sabbath is our favorite time. Rather we would like to learn where the interest lies with our believers with how they enjoy spending their time with Christ. As you read the survey responses, please be understanding. Every tradition mentioned may be priceless to those who responded to our survey. Even their frustrations may reflect a deep love and faith desiring to please their Savior. Please be filled with grace as we attempt to gain greater understands of how to love Christ on His Sabbath. Be positive as you read. Thank you.

WE HOPE THE SURVEY INFORMATION HAS BEEN A HELP
AND COMFORT FOR YOU IN SOME PRACTICAL WAY

WE ESPECIALLY APPRECIATE EACH ONE TAKING THE TIME TO PARTICIPATE. May your presence bless others who are seeking to draw close to their Sabbath-keeping Savior. May your sharing bring encouragement, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Thank you so much. We wish you delightful Sabbaths with our precious Lord Jesus, Sincerely, Dave and Sandy.

A SPECIAL WORD WITH YOU BEFORE WE SAY GOOD BYE TO THIS WEB PAGE

HAVE YOU SURVEYED YOUR SABBATH KEEPING EXPERIENCE?

We hope reading this web page has inspired your thinking. Wouldn’t it be wise for all of us, from time to time, to check our selves out to be sure we have not fallen into a Sabbath-keeping rut. Someone once said to me, “Dave, the only difference between a rut and a grave is that the rut has both ends kicked out!”

If Sabbaths seem boring, not quite filled with a spiritual joy and delight, leaving an empty feeling, then, isn’t it time to find out why? There are so many believers in love with Jesus who cherish their Sabbaths with Jesus. Shouldn’t you have that experience too if you do not already?! Jesus longs to be close to every one of us. That certainly includes you.

In families, we have learned that different members enjoy different Sabbath themes or settings. We encourage all to value each person in your family and their request or interest in Sabbath. The entire family will grow in their love for Christ, if we come to Sabbaths encouraging one another and opening opportunities for everyone to sense in there own way, the closeness of Christ. Why not take the time to learn how each one in your family loves spending time with Christ on His day. Survey. Then, plan accordingly.

Let a church grow in their corporate planning of Sabbaths and they, too, will see the spirit of the church dramatically brighten. Neglect the Sabbath and let it become the same old routine, and it could be a sign that the spirit of delightful Sabbaths is dying. Breathe new life into your Sabbaths, by being willing to broaden your experience as others have. Remember, “You can’t go wrong, going right!” So pray, “Lord, I want to be on the RIGHT SIDE OF RIGHT!” “Help me to restore my Sabbaths to their delightful place.”
